This one day Study Skills seminar covers a wide range of areas including motivation, goal setting, time management, exam performance, note taking, memory techniques and coping with learning issues and exam anxiety. The goal of this Study Skills day is to equip students with the skills and motivation to achieve their potential and is suitable for 2nd years to 6th years.
Our study skills day will be ran by Enda O’Doherty; teacher, Ironman, comedian, and motivational speaker who delivers a powerful seminar on how to motivate students to engage in proactive study methods to reach their potential. Enda connects with students in a very real manner and discusses balancing studying and the importance of study/life balance and perspective.
Enda is an expert in the field of study skills and education, with over 25 years experience.
We will also review how technology can aid students to study better and become more organised.
Each student will also get a free 12 month subscription to StudyClix.ie, this will allow them to access online study materials for the year ahead.
The Aim of the Day: To change how students look at and study for their exams. Enda does this by inspiring, motivating, and energising students to reach their individual examination goals.

My daughter did the course last summer, she found the camp excellent and it has given her a new-found confidence in technology. Also another bonus is she made some great friends who she keeps in contact with.
Thanks so much for the Study Skills camp on Wednesday. It has prepared both me and Jasmine for what she needs for secondary school.
My daughter attended the study skills day in UCC last Friday. She enjoyed it and learned a lot. The parents session was so informative, I learned a lot myself. James is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Thank you James
Firstly thanks to James and his very enthusiastic team. My son Sam attended the course in UCD and really enjoyed it. It has given him a self-confidence in his ability that I haven't seen before.
My son found the course interesting both in terms of Assistive Technology and the students attending it. It made him realise that there are many people who have similar disabilities which can be overcome.
