Assistive Technology Summer Camps 2016

We run assistive technology summer camps in Dublin and in Cork to introduce students to the benefits of using assistive technology and to have some fun through sports and drama activities. All of our camps offer:

  • A learning environment bringing together students with specific learning difficulties like dyslexia or dyspraxia;
  • A chance to learn how to use assistive technology to enable learning while having fun;
  • An opportunity to interact with peers through sports and creative activities;
  • “Parent Cafe” – A free 1.5 hour technology overview, AT demos and Q&A session for parents.

UrAbility’s Primary Camps are run over 3 days and aimed at students from 3rd – 5th class. For students getting ready for secondary school we have the InBetweeners Camp run over two days and focused on getting students up to speed with technology before making that big jump into secondary education.
